Brooklyn Decker announced in May that she was pregnant with her first child. On September 30, Decker and her husband, Andy Roddick, welcomed a baby boy in Austin, Texas.
Brooklyn Decker and Andy Roddick have welcomed a baby boy in Texas on Wednesday, September 30. The Friends with Better Lives actress and the tennis legend have not yet put out an official statement about the birth of the child, but Us Weekly has confirmed the news. The name of the child has not yet been revealed.
Decker, 28, has not posted on social media in the past week. However, Roddick, 33, has opted to discuss other things on Twitter. For example, the new father talked about his old tennis rivalry with Roger Federer. He also answered a Chrissy Teigen tweet about football.
In May, Decker opened up about the pregnancy. She told E! News:
“I feel great, luckily. I’m wearing a tent so it kind of helps the whole pregnancy bump situation but I feel good. My only weird craving—it’s not even weird—is orange juice. I’ve never really enjoyed orange juice but it’s my one craving.”
Roddick was also very excited about the idea of becoming a father. The former athlete shared the following with Page Six last month:
“She’s doing great. I think it becomes more real by the day. It’s something that’s been done a million times before . . . but to feel the baby moving around . . . it kind of just blows your mind . . . and now we’re at the point where we just want it to be here.”
Roddick and Decker started dating in 2007 and got married in 2009. The former model has a lot of admiration for her hubby, she once told Glamour:
“He’s just the most clever person I’ve ever met. He has such a quick mind… He’s so clever, and his humor is very snarky. It always makes me laugh.”
Fans are happy and have taken to social media to congratulate the new parents.
