Asia Argento is still profoundly affected by the passing of her boyfriend, Anthony Bourdain.
The actress decided to look back at the good times the two of them had by posting an old selfie to her Instagram account, captioned “two weeks without you.”
The relationship between the two lovers had lasted for over a year at the point of his death, starting during a filming session for Parts Unknown.
Although the two met at that point, it apparently took them a while to really get things going and enter a more serious relationship.
Argento also issued a public statement regarding the death of her lover, describing him as someone who always gave everything in all he did.
She claimed to have been deeply inspired by him and his generosity and describes her current state as devastated.
It is still not clear exactly how Argento is feeling about the situation, as she has made some mixed statements so far.
On the one hand, it is clear that she is still suffering a lot from her loss, but on the other, some of her posts have been more positive and have painted a slightly less troubled picture.
Regardless, it is evident that someone in her position is going to need a lot of time to recover properly, and it is not rare for the full impact of an event like that to hit a person much later and unexpectedly.
Because of this, Argento is hopefully surrounded by people who care for her and are ready to extend their assistance in case she needs it.
Moreover, one of her friends has been very open about the 42-year-old Italian actress’ battle with depression over the years.
Argento still has to deal with some Bourdain fans who blame for his death. The pal has made it clear that they had a “free relationship,” so her pictures with French reporter Hugo Clement dancing together days before Bourdain’s suicide should not be considered cheating.
