In just a week after the news about the tragic death of renowned chef Anthony Bourdain, his girlfriend, Italian actress Asia Argento, opened up and talked about her feelings after what has happened.
It seems the 42-year-old actress tried to cope with the grief over losing her partner by surrounding herself with close friends in Berlin.
Nevertheless, Argento tried expressing her feelings on social media as she shared a message on Instagram saying she felt like a mess inside. However, the words were crossed out, and an additional sentence was written: “I’m fine.”
Argento and Bourdain started their romance back in 2016 when the two of them met on the set of Parts Unknown, Bourdain’s culinary and travel show for CNN.
The Italian actress also posted a photograph where she can be seen next to a friend of hers. The celebrity also uploaded a video in which her very good friend, Rose McGowan, is present.
Apparently, the mother of two has managed to find some consolation in music as she revealed she was listening to the evergreen hit “Lazarus” by David Bowie.
Before that, she also shared “Jesus Was a Cross Maker” by Judee Sill, who also committed suicide at the age of 35 in 1979.
The #MeToo activist has been attacked online after a few pictures of her, and some male friends surfaced. Some fans are adamant that those photos pushed Bourdain over the edge. There is not much to back that theory.
The news of Bourdain’s death broke out when the celebrity chef’s body was found in his hotel room in France. The TV host committed suicide by hanging himself with the belt of his bathroom robe.
The remains were discovered by Bourdain’s close friend and colleague, Eric Ripert. The two of them were staying in this French region filming an upcoming episode of Parts Unknown.
