Ariana Jingle Ball fall has gone viral, although the incident was closer to a small slip. Ariana Grande later told her fans that she “almost died” while performing at the Madison Square Garden.
An Ariana Grande Jingle Ball stumble has fans applauding her cool demeanor in the face of a very difficult situation. Friday night, the young diva was performing “Love Me Harder,” when she slipped on some confetti that were near the edge of the stage.
Rapper Big Sean‘s girlfriend, who was wearing high heels, told the audience:
“Woooo, girl, I almost died up here.”
Although some people found that she overacted, most commentators praised the fact that she handled the whole thing in a human way. Big stars tend to say that the show must always go on, no matter what happens on stage during a live performance.
The “Problem” singer also addressed the stumble via Instagram on Saturday, she wrote:
“When u slip on confetti & almost die at Madison Square Garden.”
The stumble did not affect Grande’s vocals, who continued to hit the right notes on songs like “Problem,” “Break Free” and “Santa Baby.” Concertgoers said she wowed them and she was perfect.
Taylor Swift, Iggy Azalea, 5 Seconds of Summer, and Maroon 5 also performed at the sold-out show.
