Anna Cardwell, aka Chickadee, is pregnant with her second child, according to a statement issued by the reality star. Here Comes Honey Boo Boo star Chickadee and her husband, Michael Cardwell, are expecting and the 20-year-old has made it clear that Mama June Shannon will not be calling the shots as she did with her first pregnancy.
Chickadee, aka Anna Cardwell, is pregnant and does not need “Mama” June Shannon‘s help this time around. Here Comes Honey Boo Boo star Chickadee, whose real name is Anna Cardwell, has announced that she is expecting her second child with husband, Michael Cardwell.
Anna Cardwell has a 2-year-old daughter named Kaitlyn Elizabeth Clark with former boyfriend, Caleb Clark. A close source to the 20-year-old spoke to TMZ saying that she has laid some ground rules this time around.
While pregnant with Kaitlyn, Chickadee was living with Mama June, who took all the important decisions including what to eat, where to give birth and how to raise the baby.
For her second pregnancy, Chickadee does not want parental advice from June, just support. Chickadee, who is six weeks pregnant, does not want strange men around her children either.
Cardwell, who grew up with child molester, Mark McDaniel, as a babysitter, only wants her husband and Uncle Poodle near her child.
Via social media, Mama June shared the baby news in a rather lukewarm fashion. While she is happy for the couple, she repeated over and over that they are struggling financially, and it is not the best time to add another mouth to feed.
June, who recently announced that she is bisexual, also lamented the fact that Chickadee is too young to have two children. June shared:
“Well guess who will b a gigi and aunts again in December we will she texted me late last night and told me she was 6 wks as of thursday as qe they r too young to have another one i will support her and Michael but katilyn will always b gigis first baby im not going to sugar coat its im nervous for them as i know they r struggling with just them and katilyn right now and adding another one is going b hard and they r in different state for me to help her out like i was able to help alot with katilyn but going to try to b supportive as possible ….congrats.”
