Alyssa Milano likes Kim Kardashian, but she finds it weird that Kanye West’s wife’s naked pictures were shared everywhere online without much criticism, while she was blasted for uploading photos where she was seen breastfeeding her baby.
Alyssa Milano sees a double standard and she is trying to bring some attention to the matter. Kim Kardashian was able to “break the internet” with her nude Paper Magazine photos, without much backlash and Milano, who gave birth in September to a baby girl named Elizabella Dylan, offended some people with her breastfeeding pictures.
The Mistresses star wrote on Twitter:
“Wait! I don’t get it. No disrespect to Kim but… people are offended by my breastfeeding selfies & are fine with her (amazing) booty cover?”
The mother of two finished her statement on a lighter note. She added:
“I mean…it really is an unbelievable ass.”
Milano’s tweets went viral and most commentators sided with her on the topic. Some went as far as saying that our culture was weird to react in such way.
Alyssa Milano is right, breastfeeding in public does make some people uncomfortable, but Kim Kardashian pics were not really embraced with great fervor. The nude photos were everywhere, but most of the time, they were the bottom of the joke.
Additionally, Kim’s photos faced their own set of controversy. They were ridiculed for the over-the-top Photoshopping and blasted for the photographer’s alleged racism. Yes, Kim had people talking, but it was not all in a good way.
